Jonell Lindholm

The audio recordings below were made 23 March 2007, in the basement of Westminster Baptist Church. They are of Jonell playing "Amazing Grace" accompanied by a kudu horn choir of Phil Hooks's students, Phil Hooks, conductor. The first includes a couple of spoken words by Jonell.

The following Powerpoint file was prepared by Nancy Joy and presented at the International Horn Society workshop in Denver, August 2008. It is a memorial to the many horn players who passed away in the last year, including Jonell.

The background music is the Nimrod Variation from Elgar's Enigma Variations, arranged for horn and piano and performed by Philip Munds, principal horn of the Baltimore Symphony, and Bryan Rowe. It is from their CD available from Spiorad Music, and it can be ordered from CD Baby. It is used by kind permission of Messrs. Munds and Rowe. Any further use of this recording without written permission of Philip Munds and Bryan Rowe is prohibited.

Alternatively, the same presentation is available as a Windows meda file (WMV) of about 5 MB, thanks to the hard work of Scott Hooks.
